Michael Hackworth - Chairman, Tymphany Corporation

Mike Hackworth has contributed to the growth of Silicon Valley companies for over 35 years. Prior to founding Tymphany in 2002, Hackworth co-founded Cirrus Logic, Inc. and currently serves as the company's Chairman of the Board. Under his leadership as CEO and president, Cirrus Logic pioneered the 'fabless' semiconductor business model, becoming a major global supplier of advanced Integrated Circuits and growing to over a billion dollars in revenue faster than any company of its kind. Previously, Hackworth was Senior Vice President of MOS and Linear Products Group at Signetics Corporation (now Philips Semiconductors), overseeing several divisions and manufacturing plants. Earlier, he held senior management roles at Signetics, Motorola and Fairchild Semiconductor. Hackworth holds an undergraduate degree in Engineering from Santa Clara University.

Tom Jacoby - CEO, Tymphany Corporation

Tom Jacoby has 30 years of experience in the audio industry. As CEO of Tymphany, Jacoby applies his industry knowledge and management skills to lead the company's development of quality acoustic solutions and superior audio technology. Prior to joining Tymphany in 2007, Jacoby served as Corporate Development Officer and Vice Chairman of Klipsch Group, Inc., where he was responsible for business development, acquisitions, and strategic planning. Jacoby was instrumental in Kipsch's successful expansion in the home consumer market, driving the acquisition and integration of premium loudspeaker brands Jamo, Energy, Mirage and Athena. Earlier in his career, Jacoby spent 20 years with the Harman International Industries, where he held various executive roles in the automative, professional, and consumer audio groups, ultimately serving as President and CEO of Harman Consumer Group. Jacoby has also worked with other leading audio brands, such as JBL Consumer Products and Harman Kardon USA, and has served on the board of directors for companies including Klipsch Group Inc., California Clean Energy Fund, Homeland Energy Resource Development, and the Electronic Industries Association. Jacoby holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University.

Michael Oslac, Ph.D. - Managing Partner, York Lake Partners

Michael Oslac has over 25 years of executive experience in the audio industry, and previously served as President and COO of Tymphany. He has extensive experience in strategic management, mergers and acquisitions, business development, and engineering management. He served as vice president of strategic operations for Harman International Industries (Harman), a manufacturer of high-quality, high-fidelity audio and electronic products, from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, Oslac founded Oxford International Ltd., a successful OEM manufacturer of loudspeakers that he sold to Harman in 1997. Before joining Tymphany, he served as Managing Partner of York Lake Partners, LLC, a consulting firm he founded in 2001. Oslac holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University, and a Doctorate in Acoustics from Penn State University.

Bill Harding - Managing Director and Co-Head, Information Technology Practice Group, VantagePoint Venture Partners

Bill has more than 20 years of experience in venture capital. Prior to joining VantagePoint in 2007, he was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley & Co., President of Morgan Stanley Venture Partners and a managing member of several venture capital funds affiliated with Morgan Stanley from 1994-2007. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Bill was a General Partner of several venture capital partnerships affiliated with J. H. Whitney & Co. Previously he was with Amdahl Corporation serving in various technical and business development roles and also held several technical positions with Honeywell Information Systems. Bill is a graduate of University of Arizona (BS and MS) and Arizona State University (PhD). He also served as an officer in the Military Intelligence Branch of the United States Army Reserve.

Miles Arnone - Managing Director, Technology Group, American Capital

Miles Arnone joined American Capital in September 2002 as a Vice President in the Operations Team and was promoted to Principal in 2004 and to Managing Director in 2007. Mr. Arnone co-heads the American Capital Technology Group and is based in Boston, MA. Previously, Mr. Arnone was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Charterhouse Group International, a private equity firm with $1 billion under management. There, Mr. Arnone was responsible for conducting due diligence and managing portfolio companies. His assignments included work in the machine tool, electronics, and medical device industries.
Mr. Arnone holds graduate degrees in management and engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from MIT as well.

John Carter - Entrepeneur in Residence, VantagePoint Venture Partners

John has a successful track record of building emerging technology companies into market leaders. He has been a CEO, founder, and a respected advisor to technology firms over his 25 year career. John was most recently the CTO of Klipsch Group, where he led technology acquisition, global integration, and product strategy. Earlier in his career, John was Chief Engineer of Bose Corporation. Before joining Klipsch in 2005, John was founder of two consulting companies TCGen Inc.and Product Development Consulting, Inc. where he worked with clients such as Apple, Cisco, Hewlett Packard, IBM, and 3M. He is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MS) and Harvey Mudd College (BS) in Claremont, CA.

David Rolf - Vice President, VantagePoint Venture Partners

David joined VantagePoint in 2007 with significant operating experience. As a member of the Information Technology Group, he focuses on investments in the mobile/wireless space as well as general Internet and consumer-facing products. Previously, David was Managing Director, North America for Gate5 AG, a Mobile GPS/Navigation and Local Search software company that was acquired by Nokia in 2006. He has experience selling to Consumer Electronics companies and in tailoring complex products for the mass consumer market. Before Gate5, David led Finance Operations at Walmart.com, lowering payments cost and reducing fraud during a period of hypergrowth. David has experience in software product management, marketing, and sales, and has worked on three continents, advising Fortune 500 companies on new product introduction and globalization. David is a Kauffman Fellow, and a graduate of Princeton University (BA) and Stanford University (MBA).
