Midwoofer
New HDS
A powerful ferrite magnet system is coupled to a finite element analysis designed suspension system, containing a linear spider design and rubber surround. The motor contains an aluminium shorting ring, which reduces coil inductance, thus providing both extended frequency response performance and reduced second harmonic distortion. The long-throw voice coil ensures linear high excursion performance needed for signal clarity. The cone necks are vented so as to reduce air compression effects under high excursion conditions. The cast aluminium basket offers high structural rigidity, heat sinking capacity for the motor, and additional air venting under the spider reducing air compression effects. The cone comes in either a glass-fibre composite (GFC) or aluminium offering a unique acoustic and visual experience for the OEM.

HDS Nomex
The High Definition Sound (HDS) NOMEX Series offers high-quality solutions for both multi-way speaker systems and vented box applications. Featuring "shorting rings" for low distortion and coils offering perfect linear compatibility with NOMEX cones, these audio transducers are characterized by their very open, very rich sound character. HDS PPB
The new High Definition Sound (HDS) PPB series is the culmination of Peerless working in close partnership with end users of Peerless-based audio products. With a deep understanding of customer requirements and needs, Peerless developed the proprietary and highly advanced Polypropylene Black (PPB) cone material used in the HDS PPB Series, creating a stiff but still dampened cone that remains stable even under the greatest sound pressures. SDS
The Superior Dynamic Sounds (SDS) Series provides the smallest but highest-quality subwoofers in the industry today. Leveraging the best in Danish craftsmanship, but manufactured to be very affordable, these audio transducers are ideal for use in small surround sound systems, but can also be used in a wide variety of end user products and applications. The speakers in this line are combinable with subwoofers in the SLS line--for example, these two products work extremely well together in home theater solutions.
