A few years ago, our team was awarded a new contract building systems for a highly respected loudspeaker manufacturer including some fairly sophisticated tweeter assemblies. Understanding the difficulty of getting these devices right, the customer chose to bring in pre-assembled tweeters from their current manufacturer for final system assembly by Tymphany.
 
But with tweeter yield percentages hovering close to 50%, Tymphany offered to analyze the current design for possible optimization. Our team found the key defects, and after a complete redesign and transfer to our assembly systems, yields soared to 98% with improvements in reliability and performance.
 
Realizing the talent and efficiency of the Tymphany design group, the customer transferred all their tweeter business to Tymphany and the relationship has been in place for over 4 years.
