Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Due to the rapid growth of our company we are looking to expand our sourcing team by adding an experienced Electronics Sourcing Specialist.
He or she should posses the following core competencies:
- Identify new suppliers, technologies and other opportunities
- Provide full service to assigned enquiries, including but not limited to, the sourcing and buying of semiconductors, passive electronic components
- Find quotes on products, negotiate a final price with suppliers and work closely with the sales support group to expedite the process and delivery
- Remain up-to-date on market conditions including vendor base, their availabilities and requirements, as well as pricing and competitive alternatives
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelors Degree (in Engineering or Electronics is preferred)
- At least 8 years experience in electronics industry
- In-depth knowledge of the global electronics supply base (Especially in Hong Kong/China)
- Technical strength and understanding of basic electronic components and specifications. Preference to have electronics or engineering background
- Strong strategic thinking skill and shall have an achievement oriented and proactive mindset
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively & independently
- Fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Proficiency in computer skills
Responsibilities:
The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for developing electronics for audio amplifiers which will be integrated into our high quality loudspeakers systems, from concept through to production for many of the world’s leading high end brands. They design, develop and manufacture subwoofers, studio monitors, iPod docks and other active loudspeaker systems.
A successful candidate must be able to take a project from a concept into production. Including schematic design, board layout, software, certifications, and testing. The applicant will exhibit good working knowledge of audio electronics, measurements and embedded system design. They will also have significant work experience designing and debugging digital audio systems. They will be able to interpret customer requirements and specifications and optimize their designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
Qualifications and Required Skills:
- BS or MS EE
- Experience in the design and development of digital and analog audio electronics.
- Working knowledge of I2C, SPDIF and I2S interfaces.
- Understanding of audio measurements and experience with measurement equipment (Audio Precision).
- Experience solving EMC, safety, and other certification related issues.
- Knowledge of DSP, digital/analog filters, CODEC’s, and class D amplifiers.
- Experience with embedded systems and proficiency with C is an asset.
- Technical management of the development of electronics platforms and products.
- Excellent communication with customers and colleges/Fluent in English.
- Ability to guide and mentor others on technical issues.
- 2 or more years of electronics development experience on audio related products.

Responsibilities:
The Embedded Systems Engineer is responsible for developing electronics for audio systems which will be integrated into our high quality loudspeakers systems, from concept through to production for many of the world’s leading high end brands. They design, develop and manufacture subwoofers, studio monitors, iPod docks and other active loudspeaker systems.
A successful candidate must be able to take a project from a concept into production. Including system design, software design, hardware design, and testing. The applicant will exhibit good working knowledge of common serial buses, C programming, and micro controllers. They will also have significant work experience designing and debugging embedded systems. They will be able to interpret customer requirements and specifications and optimize their designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
Qualifications and Required Skills:
- BS or MS EE
- Experience in the design and development of embedded systems for consumer products and years of experience programming in C or C++.
- Ability to design an embedded audio system and select hardware components given customer requirements and cost constraints.
- Knowledge of digital and analog audio electronics is preferred.
- Working knowledge of I2C, SPDIF, SPI and I2S interfaces.
- Knowledge of DSP, digital/analog filters, CODEC’s, and amplifiers.
- 3 or more years of experience developing embedded systems for related products.
- Experience working with audio products, including Bluetooth, Digital Amplifiers, CODEC’s, OLED/LCD/LED displays and understanding of audio measurements and experience with measurement equipment (Audio Precision) is an asset.

The Loudspeaker Systems Engineer is responsible for developing specific product ranges of high quality loudspeakers from concept through to production for some of the worlds leading high end brands.
He or she should posses the following core competencies:
- Design and specification of loudspeakers systems
- Problem solving and product trouble shooting
- Help to manage the development of loudspeaker systems with inter-disciplinary team work approach
- Project related task management of supporting engineers
- Preference to interface between Tymphany and customers
- Preference for a fluency in English

- Oversee timely materials delivery and expedite if needed
- Remain up-to-date on market conditions including vendor base, their availabilities and requirements, as well as pricing and competitive alternatives
Qualifications and Required Skills:
- Degree qualified
- At least 8 years experience in procurement preferably in consumer electronics
- In-depth knowledge of the China supply base
- The ability to lead and motivate a total staff of 50 people in a hard working but informal company culture
