Junior Transducer Acoustic Engineer
Transducer engineers are responsible for the acoustic design of Tymphany’s high quality transducer products, as a part of an interdisciplinary team bringing these products from an R&D state into production.
Qualifications
- University degree in Physics, Acoustics, Electrical Engineering, and/or 3 years of transducer design experience.
- Communication in English (written and spoken)
- Computer modeling skills such as finite element analysis desirable
Duties
- Transducer design, including coils, spiders, cones, and motors
- Finite element analysis of transducer motors
- Transducer acoustic modeling using Pspice and other tools
- Assembly and analysis of prototype transducers
- Ensure product can meet reliability testing requirements and cost targets
- Support on-time product introduction to manufacturing
- Visit suppliers to support development of new parts
- Report-writing on technical issues
